Daas Returns With A Dance Hall Groove “Bending”

Emerging Nigerian artist Daas is back in the spotlight with his latest single, “Bending.”

After the release of his last single ‘Dinah’ in 2023 and of recent he was credited as a writer on ‘Diamonds’ a song off the new Amaarea’s deluxe Album.

DAAS returns with his first single of the year titled “BENDING”.

“Bending” exudes flirtatious energy.

Daas infectious melodies and heartfelt lyrics invite listeners to hit the replay button. Daas shares the inspiration behind the song he says “the mesmerising art of dance, the captivating movement of a woman’s body and the vibrant nightlife dance cultures of Lagos, Nigeria.”

The creation of “Bending” was a groove. Daas recalls, “Bending” was a collaborative effort between Daas and Elder. Bending is a high-energy track that combines the irresistible grooves of dancehall with the vibrant textures of Afrobeat. The song’s beat is built around a driving bassline and syncopated drum patterns, enhanced by melodic synths, soulful pads, groovy drums, bright percussive elements and rhythmic guitar riffs all designed to get listeners moving.

Hailing from the vibrant southern part of Nigeria (Rivers State). Daas embodies musical excellence.
His musical journey began at a very young age when he started leading his church ADULT choir as a
TEENAGER.
