Nigerian artist Neutralface (born Odjugo Godbless) has dropped his explosive new album Unleashed, showcasing his signature rapid-fire creativity and polished Afrobeat production. The Delta State native, dubbed the “musical machine” for his ability to compose complete songs in just 15 minutes, delivers his most electrifying work yet – a project that burns with raw emotion and dancefloor-ready precision.
Since launching his career in 2005, the self-taught musician has amassed over 1,000 tracks in his catalog, drawing divine inspiration he describes as coming “from above.” Unleashed represents the culmination of Neutralface’s two-decade grind – from saving money for early studio sessions in Sapele to developing a sound that effortlessly blends Afrobeat, hip-hop and rap into something uniquely his own.
“This album is my energy uncaged,” says Neutralface, whose stage name came to him in a prophetic dream. “Every rhythm carries years of struggle, faith, and that magic moment when the music just flows through you.”
Having overcome Nigeria’s competitive music industry through sheer hustle, Neutralface now positions Unleashed as his decisive play for the Afrobeat mainstream, proving underground grind can produce stadium-worthy anthems. Listen on all platforms here
