Summer Cookout, the travelling iteration of Vogue Boys’ celebrated water park music festival, Easter Cookout turned her water guns on the ancient city of Ibadan and left every attendee wet & sweaty.
Following a memorable show in Lagos in April, the collective set out on a 4-city tour to hit Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Abuja & Enugu this year! Judging by the turnout and energy witnessed in Ibadan, fun-seeking youths across the country are in for the time of their lives.
The Ibadan edition saw excited guests take turns engaging in the many activities like the mechanical bull, bouncy castle, canon-balling into the pristine swimming pool and water gun battles all the while getting drenched by the stage side super soakers and dancing to eclectic mixes cued by a host of DJs gracing the stage from bases ranging from Toronto and Lagos to Barcelona and Ibadan itself.
Music acts like Chocolate City’s Major AJ from Lagos and fast-rising hometown hero, NECTA serenaded the crowd with renditions of their brilliant singles as the DJ lineup including: Calix, Niffster, Afriiique, DJ Keywe, DJ Tflow, DJ Marking, Ade, DJ Rainbow, DoghouseTV & Ademola Falomo steered the festivities past the scheduled end at midnight when attendees refused to call it a night.
