Tripp3 is a Lagos, Nigeria native producer and an audio engineer/sound and graphic designer whose
theatrical and undeniable versatile take on multiple genres has received widespread acclaim.
Having been in the studio with sensational African talents such as; Asake, Victony, Timaya, King Perryy, Minz just to name a few. Alongside top notch producers such as; Chopstix, Phantom, Ramoni, 255, Semzi and many others.
Tripp3’s musical influence has always resonated around his life journey and experiences. He began his career playing drums at an early age in his primary school band and church choir, with his mum being a soprano lead singer, he has always drawn inspiration from her amazing vocals.
Nevertheless, his fashion style and persona has played a huge role in creating his music due to influences from his immediate older brother Victor Nja who is an African top designer and stylist and the Founder and Co-Director of Tuffwrld; a global brand where Tripp3 has inputted his graphic design skills and held roles as an assistant fashion stylist on multiple sets with the likes of Jae5, BNXN Fka Buju, Terri, Ycee, Oxlade, DJ Spinall and many others. He creates jiggy sounds that emanate from different moods and fashion friendly contexts fitting his urban luxurious style.
Tripp3 releases his debut production project “Sounds Of You”, which consists of an eleven minute-five track star studded project, rapidly shifting in mood from soul to sultry and exhilarating excitement. The project was anything but fleeting in progression as it solidified Tripp3 as a serious versatile talent.
The idea was birthed in 2022 prior to Valentine to depict soothing sounds of erotic love euphoria. The project features Lagos based talent Susss’ vocals throughout, bringing a perfect blend of intricacies, entailing Black Kings such as; Burna Boy, Wande Coal and Kranium. The synergy created on every record by Tripp3 and Susss is evident in unveiling the talents that are needed in the world at the moment.
