Ivory Osidan’s new EP, “It’s Okay to Try,” is now available.
The inspiration behind the EP’s title highlights Ivory’s determination to create and share her music, despite the challenges along the way. It also celebrates the courage to see projects through to completion.
The EP opens with “Body,” which explores the deep and electric connection between two people, followed by “Feeling,” which captures the excitement and confusion of developing romantic feelings. “What If” offers a raw portrayal of unreturned affection, while “Better Days” provides a hopeful outlook on moving past it. The closing track, “Just Myself,” focuses on personal development and staying true to one’s aspirations.
