Coca Releases Two-Track Capsule,’On Time’.

Nigerian Afrobeats curator, executive producer, and lead artist Coca is back with a new project that reaffirms his reputation as one of the most exciting creative forces in the industry. His latest capsule, titled On Time, features two standout singles Mercedes Logo and Ghetto and marks his first release since 2023’s Woman and the two-track capsule Handle You and Money.

Known for his ability to merge rhythm, storytelling, and emotion into seamless experiences, Coca once again demonstrates his meticulous approach to music-making. On Time is more than just a collection of tracks; it is a curated body of work that captures different dimensions of life and love, crafted under Coca’s direction and brought to life through his sharp production vision.

The capsule’s opener Mercedes Logo embraces passion and devotion, with Coca weaving themes of intimacy and playful energy. Its counterpart Ghetto takes a more grounded turn, reflecting resilience and the grit of everyday realities. Together, the tracks create a striking contrast, a balance of aspiration and authenticity that speaks directly to Coca’s range as a curator.

Earlier in 2024, Coca deepened his craft by hosting a songwriting and recording camp in collaboration with Sounds From the Other Side (SFTOS). The initiative highlighted his dedication to nurturing fresh talent and experimenting with new ideas, and On Time is the first body of work to emerge since then. The capsule carries the spirit of that camp, innovative, collaborative, and intentional.

Reflecting on the release, Coca noted: “On Time is a statement. It’s about creating music that feels both personal and universal. Every track I put together is meant to connect, to tell a story, and to last. This project represents that journey.”

Coca’s trajectory in the Nigerian music landscape continues to rise. Following the acclaim of Woman, Handle You, and Money, his new capsule positions him as a cultural architect, not only producing songs but also designing sonic experiences that resonate across audiences. His identity as an Afrobeats curator underscores this growing influence.

On Time is available now on all major streaming platforms.
