cosamote was born out of a desire to create without limits, a collective space where music and imagination flow freely. That boundary-pushing spirit comes to life in their debut album, “Files ‘26,” a vibrant 13-track project featuring 11 artists who merge emotion, groove, and reflection into one seamless body of work.
Drawing inspiration from early 2000s R&B while infusing contemporary Afrofusion and soul textures, the album feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new. It’s the sound of a new generation rewriting the rules, building their own creative ecosystem, and crafting a sonic identity that’s fearless and fluid.
Each artist brings their own flavour, from the smooth intimacy of “Sweetest Taboo” to the vibrant “Pamukutu” and the introspective storytelling of “It’s Not My Fault (Me Vs My Ex).” Together, they form a cohesive narrative about love, growth, and self-expression.
