On November 22, WeareproducHERs hosted their first Music Production 101 Workshop in Lagos, Nigeria. The free workshop for female producers had a selection of only 10 participants allowing for an intimate and cozy setting.

WeareproducHERs is a community founded by Gbots, aimed at creating opportunities for women to learn, collaborate, and lead in music production. This initiative led to the Music Production 101 Workshop, an introductory, hands-on training session designed to help women explore music production. The workshop was facilitated by Bodaxious (FL Studio) and Gbots (Ableton Live), with other creatives in attendance including Princess Jewel, Mesoma Benedict, Omojola Oluwatamilore, Jazzthecreative, Merry-Lynn, Tito, Jivaska, Tuke Morgan, Inci, and Boluke.

The 6-hour program introduced women to the fundamentals of digital music production, offered hands-on lectures using FL Studio and Ableton, created a safe and inclusive learning environment, and promoted mentorship and visibility for women in music production. It also included networking opportunities.
