November 7, 2025, we made an attempt to put out an exciting project – Files ’26.
It’s been over three months since then, and we believe it has done an incredible job for everyone who participated. For me personally, it has been a blessing, an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to something rooted in community.
My work in culture and the creative business constantly reminds me of the extraordinary growth happening in African music. I’m in awe of the excellence of the talents I see every day. That’s why the work on Files ’26 is important to me and to everyone around me. It was designed to celebrate the conscious effort of the amazing artists within our community and we have no intention of stopping anytime soon.
There’s a new generation of African music and talent on the way. I believe it’s something worth building with intention.
So my friends and I are investing in More Clues – a collective development and distribution program dedicated to building the next generation of pop stars using our shared resources, combining culture and community.
And yes, about the name, we were looking for more clues to a proper name, so we figured More Clues might just work. yikes!
Folder drops in April – a collaborative EP from Caleb Clay and Jamz FR, serving as an extension of the album Files ’26. More Clues will serve as the distribution vehicle for this project, the artists in our community and other forthcoming community releases.
We can save the congratulations for the first one million streams, cos this next phase will require some sacrifice and discipline from us. Send your kind words, your prayers and your goodwill, they’ll definitely come in handy.
If you got this far, it’s likely cos you deeply care and I appreciate that.
