Lizzie Noir: From Church Choir Beginnings to R&B Spotlight with Debut Single “Spell on Me”

Lizzie Noir, born Elizabeth Iheanacho, is a soulful R&B artist whose musical journey began in church at the age of five. Inspired by early choir rehearsals with her mother and bonding over music with her brother, Lizzie discovered her voice in secondary school and never looked back. She stepped into the professional scene in 2022 with the Loud Urban Choir and has since worked as a background vocalist for industry heavyweights like Davido, Zlatan, Joeboy, Kizz Daniel, Cobhams Asuquo, CKay, Efe Macroc, Mr Soul and many others.

Lizzie’s music is a reflection of truth, love, hope, and the human experience. Drawing influence from icons like Adele, Beyoncé, and Brandy, her sound blends rich lyrics, emotional depth, and creative harmonies. After years behind the scenes, Lizzie steps fully into her own light with her debut single “Spell on Me”.

“Spell on Me” marks Lizzie’s bold entrance into the music industry with a track that transcends traditional Afrobeats. The song explores the emotional highs and vulnerable lows of falling in love, all wrapped in a production that incorporates the groove of Afrobeat and the soulfulness of classic R&B, it’s a clear statement of who she is as an artist: honest, emotional, and deeply rooted in sound and story.
